About the Genki

The Linn Genki is a versatile, high-performance CD player introduced in 1999, featuring Linn's advanced disc handling technology, Brilliant silent power supply, and surface mount electronics for optimal signal routing. It offers two pairs of single-ended fixed and variable analogue stereo audio outputs for direct connection to amplifiers or preamps, SPDIF digital output, HDCD decoding, and optional RS232 module. Designed for pitch-accurate reproduction with low jitter master clock and error correction for imperfect discs. It includes Remote-In/Remote-Out for Linn Knekt multi-room systems. Linn ceased production of CD players around 2009 and ended service support in 2017.
