About the Geek Out 1000
The LH Labs Geek Out 1000 is a compact, USB-powered asynchronous DAC and headphone amplifier with a pure Class A output stage. It supports PCM audio up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD128, and provides two 3.5mm headphone outputs with different output impedances. The high-power version delivers up to 1000mW into 16 ohms and up to 4.0Vrms, making it suitable for demanding headphones, including many high-impedance models. Its red anodized-aluminum enclosure also functions as a heat sink for the Class A circuitry.
