About the C-MARC Entropic Power
The LessLoss C-MARC Entropic Power Cable is a meticulously engineered power cord utilizing a unique Litz wire design called C-MARC™ (Common-mode Auto-rejecting Cable). It features a complex internal structure of 24 white cotton fiber strands forming the core, surrounded by 192 individually insulated copper strands, and 96 gassed and mercerized black cotton strands, all enclosed within a protective polyolefin sheath and an outer braid of polyethylene terephthalate monofilament yarns. The conductor is composed of 0.125mm diameter solid core Litz strands, each enamel coated with the thinnest possible coating. The Entropic Process treatment, which takes about 30 hours to complete per cable, accelerates and enhances the burn-in effect, resulting in significantly improved noise rejection and sonic performance compared to the classic version. The cable is designed to minimize micro-arcing and diode effects by having electrical contacts only at the ends, and its construction ensures very low internal resistance and high signal-to-noise ratio. It supports multiple plug types and lengths up to 3.5 meters, with additional length priced accordingly. The Entropic version commands a premium price due to its advanced processing and superior performance.
