The Von Gaylord Audio LAD-L2 Signature is a Class A tube line-stage preamplifier built as a two-chassis system. It uses two 6SN7 tubes and has separate, isolated left- and right-channel audio sections, along with an external power-supply chassis. Connectivity includes CD, tuner, and auxiliary inputs. Published specifications include a 10 Hz–85 kHz frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio above 102 dB, 1 kΩ input impedance, 120 mV input sensitivity, 2 V output, and 30 dB gain. The two chassis together weigh approximately 50 lb; the main chassis measures 19.5 in wide, 4.25 in high, and 9.5 in deep.
