The Legacy Audio VALOR is a nearly six-foot tall, approximately 300-pound flagship floorstanding speaker system that integrates advanced technology with elegant styling. It employs 2750 watts of internal power per side and a sophisticated 64-bit Wavelet processor developed by Legacy's Chief Engineer Bill Dudleston and Bernt Böhmer of Böhmer Audio, Sweden. This processor handles crossover duties, digital-to-analog conversion, preamplification, bass equalization, and advanced room correction algorithms including Stereo Unfold and Omnio technology. These technologies address room resonances and digital harshness while restoring spatial and harmonic cues lost in playback, resulting in a clearer, more open, and spacious soundstage with precise localization and rich timbre. The VALOR features an 8-driver, 4-way system with a specialized 3-driver ambient array, including dual 4” AMT tweeters, a 1.5” coaxial midrange, 14” carbon/pulp midwoofers and bass drivers in a super cardioid array, dual 12” aluminum subwoofers with powerful motors, and dual 12” passive radiators. It has a frequency response of 12Hz to 30kHz, sensitivity of 100.5 dB, and impedance of 4 ohms (binding posts) and 10k ohms (XLR). The cabinet measures 67” H x 16.25” W x 18” D with a base of 1.5” H x 20.75” W x 20.75” D, weighing 288 lbs each. Inputs include binding posts and multiple XLR balanced connections for bass, subwoofer, and Stereo Unfold. An external amplifier channel of 60 watts or greater is recommended for high frequencies.
