About the 20.1
The Leedh 20.1 is a high-end active subwoofer designed for audiophiles seeking deep, precise bass in a compact form factor. It uses an isobaric sealed enclosure of only 16 liters, a significant reduction from typical large subwoofer volumes. The design incorporates four drivers: two 15-inch Audax woofers mounted externally and two 9-inch Atohm woofers internally, arranged in opposing push-pull and push-push configurations to cancel cabinet vibrations and reduce resonance. This unique driver arrangement allows for deep bass extension down to 20 Hz at -1 dB with minimal distortion. The subwoofer is powered by two Atohm S500 Class D amplifiers, each delivering 500 watts, separately driving the large and small driver pairs. It features adjustable phase from 0 to 180 degrees and a continuously adjustable crossover from 40 to 150 Hz. The cabinet measures 48 x 45 x 48 cm and weighs 41 kg. Originally launched in 2014 with 300W amplifiers, the current version from 2015 upgraded to 500W amplifiers and fixed phase settings. The Leedh 20.1 was designed to complement the Leedh E2 speakers but can enhance any audiophile or home cinema system. Its innovative isobaric design and compact size make it a standout subwoofer in its class.
