About the CS600

The Leben CS-600 integrated amplifier uses four 6L6GC output tubes (with EL34/6CA7 as an option) and four 6CS7 twin-triode tubes for first-stage amplification, plus a 6CJ3 damper tube to delay high-voltage supply to output tubes, protecting and extending their life. It delivers 32 watts per channel with 6L6GC tubes and 28 watts with EL34 tubes at 1kHz. The amplifier features a wide and flat frequency response from 10Hz to 100kHz (-0.1 dB), low distortion of 0.7% at 10W, and selectable output impedance taps for 4, 6, 8, or 16 ohms via WBT-type speaker terminals. It includes five line-level RCA inputs, a tape monitor, and a preamp-in for use as a power amplifier with volume control bypassing other functions. The front panel offers bass boost, mute, stereo/reverse switch, headphone output, and speaker/headphone selector. The volume control has 40 steps with 24K gold-plated knobs and solid Canadian white ash wood side panels. The amplifier weighs 22.5 kg and measures 450 x 360 x 142 mm. It comes with a detachable power cord. The headphone output is noted for sweet, non-fatiguing sound.
