About the Lite 7

The Lampizator Lite 7 is an evolution of the Big 7 DAC, designed to deliver the super addictive sound of big DHT triodes in single-ended anode follower configuration at a more affordable price. It uses a stripped-down hardware platform with silicone plus CRC rectification instead of tube rectifiers and chokes, and premium quality but less costly parts. It features output capacitors from Jupiter AM series, standard Psvane 101D tubes with provision to switch to 2A3, 6A3, 300B, 45-245-345 tubes, a Level 7 PCM DAC supporting up to 384 kHz and USB input up to 32 bit/384 kHz, and the same DSD engine as the Big 7. The DAC has RCA output pair, USB input socket, and RCA-S/PDIF input. It offers a choice of black or silver front panel and eye ring colors (red, orange, blue, white). The unit measures 45 cm wide, 53 cm deep, 13 cm tall, weighs 12 kg net, and consumes 30 Watts power. It is a single amplification stage DAC with only one capacitor in series with the sound, separate transformer windings for tube circuit and digital parts, and a top digital section with current-output DAC converters. The design philosophy emphasizes simplicity and sound purity without options or special orders.
