The LampizatOr Atlantic 3 TRP is a handcrafted, tube-based digital-to-analog converter from LampizatOr of Krakow, Poland. Introduced as an Atlantic 3-generation model with the proprietary Engine Eleven platform, it combines discrete R2R PCM conversion with a dedicated DSD conversion chain and a tube analog output stage. The TRP (Tube Rollers Paradise) design accepts a wide range of octal-base power tetrodes and pentodes, allowing the character of the DAC to be tuned through tube rolling. It was available in single-ended RCA and fully balanced RCA/XLR versions, with or without an integrated resistor-ladder preamplifier and remote-controlled volume control. Digital inputs include USB, coaxial S/PDIF, optical Toslink, and AES/EBU; volume-control versions also provide an analog RCA input. The available evidence indicates that Atlantic 3 TRP has been superseded by newer Atlantic models and is listed in LampizatOr price documentation among older models, so it is no longer a current production model, although availability may remain through dealers or the used market.
