About the LL1 Signature

The Lamm Industries LL1 Signature is a dual-mono, pure Class A, single-ended tube line preamplifier consisting of separate chassis for each channel and their power supplies. It uses four high-transconductance 6N30P-EB dual triode tubes in parallel per channel to achieve low output impedance, high current capability, and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The preamplifier employs no overall feedback and features TKD stepped potentiometers for precise volume control. Its power supply includes full-wave vacuum rectifiers (two 6X4 tubes per channel), choke filters, and solid-state analog voltage regulators to supply DC voltage to tube filaments, ensuring minimal hum and buzz and preserving dynamic range without coloration. The LL1 Signature offers three line-level inputs, a tape/home-theater processor loop, two switchable outputs (single-ended and pseudo-balanced), a -12 dB attenuator switch, manual mute protection circuitry, and remote on/off control for Lamm power amplifiers. Constructed with military-grade components such as DALE metal-film resistors, RCD wire-wound resistors, BOURNS multi-turn potentiometers, VISHAY electrolytic capacitors, ELECTROCUBE, ELCON, and KEMET/RIFA film capacitors, HAMMOND chokes, and gold-plated NEUTRIK connectors, it is handcrafted for exceptional sonic purity. A custom damping panel reduces mechanical vibrations for coherent bass reproduction. The unit supports worldwide AC voltages (100-240V). It is renowned for its practically inaudible sonic signature and ability to create a highly transparent and immersive soundstage when paired with suitable power amplifiers, especially Lamm's own models.
