About the PRE 1

The Lab12 PRE 1 is a Class A tube preamplifier that serves as the heart of any high-end audio system. It is designed to work seamlessly with both solid-state and tube power amplifiers, providing a rich, dynamic, and high-definition sound. The PRE 1 features a pair of matched 6922 tubes, a special gain circuit, and Lab12's unique four-stage regulated solid-state power supply. It includes a toroidal power transformer, Blue Velvet ALPS potentiometer, and implements Fine Symmetry and SRSG technologies for enhanced performance. The preamplifier offers five analog inputs and two outputs, making it suitable for bi-amping systems or driving a power amplifier and active subwoofer.
