The Krell Showcase 5 is a high-performance 5-channel power amplifier from Krell's Showcase series, introduced around 2002. It features a modular design allowing upgrades to 6 or 7 channels by adding amplifier modules. Housed in a refined brushed aluminum Krellcoat finish, it employs Krell's legendary technologies for exceptional sonic performance, power delivery, and upgradability. It supports both balanced and single-ended inputs, with 12V trigger capability for custom installations. The amplifier is designed for home theater and multi-channel audio, capable of driving difficult speakers and filling large rooms with sound. Rear panel includes binding posts for channels 1-5 (with caps on 6-7), IEC power connector, and stands in low-power standby mode when not in use.
