The Krell MD-10 is a high-end CD transport designed for use with external digital-to-analog processors, featuring a modified Philips CDM-4 PRO mechanism with Hall effect motor and swing-arm design. It outputs digital signals only via industry-standard formats including Fibre Optic, Coaxial RCA, AT&T ST, AES/EBU XLR, and optional TimeSync via ST for clock synchronization with compatible Krell DACs. The unit includes wireless infrared remote control and supports FTS programming. Known for its robust build and superior digital signal integrity, it pairs excellently with Krell processors for enhanced rhythm, detail, and low-frequency performance.
