About the TA-AF9/10

The Korf Audio TA-AF9/10 series comprises the 9-inch TA-AF9 and 10-inch TA-AF10 pivoting-gimbal tonearms, both with fixed alumina-ceramic armtubes and headshells. They use a zero-friction, zero-stiction flexure-pivot horizontal bearing, ceramic rolling bearings on the vertical axis, and brass moving parts. Internal wiring is 6N OCC Litz cable with gold-plated contact pins. Features include magnetic antiskating, azimuth adjustment, and fine vertical tracking-angle adjustment. The TA-AF9 has a 229 mm effective length and 214 mm pivot-to-spindle distance; the TA-AF10 has a 245 mm effective length and 230 mm pivot-to-spindle distance. Both have a 22° offset angle and 21 g effective mass. The tonearms are designed for high rigidity and low energy storage, with a minimum cartridge mass of 5 g and a maximum of 15 g, or 25 g when the additional counterweight is fitted.
