The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-280F floorstanding speaker is the largest in the Reference Premiere family, designed to produce premium, cinema-quality sound. It features two 8" Cerametallic woofers with spun copper cones for exceptional rigidity and lightweight construction, minimizing distortion. The 1" Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) titanium tweeter is mounted in a redesigned 90x90 Hybrid Tractrix Horn made of compressed molded rubber, which improves high-frequency response, extension, imaging, and dynamics while reducing harshness. The speaker uses an all-new Tractrix port for efficient, fast airflow, resulting in clean and powerful bass. The cabinet is made of MDF with a brushed polymer veneer baffle finish, providing durability and a modern aesthetic. The grille is strong, flexible, removable, and attaches magnetically for a clean look. The speaker supports bi-amping and bi-wiring via dual binding post terminals. Dimensions are approximately 43.125" H x 10.5" W x 16.375" D, and it weighs 62.5 lbs. It is available in finishes such as Ebony, Cherry, Walnut, and a limited edition Piano Black.
