About the RF83

The Klipsch RF-83 is a high-performance floorstanding speaker from the Reference Series, standing 50 inches tall. It features a 1.25-inch horn-loaded titanium tweeter and three 8-inch Cerametallic hybrid cone woofers designed to reduce unwanted resonances. The woofers work with rear-firing ports to produce bass down to 29 Hz. It has a sensitivity of 100 dB at 2.83V, an 8-ohm impedance, and can handle up to 250 watts RMS power. The speaker uses a bass reflex enclosure with a furniture-grade wood veneer finish available in Black or Cherry. The Tractrix Horn delivers a 90-degree by 60-degree dispersion pattern for a broad soundstage, providing clarity, precision, and dynamic sound. It includes bi-amp inputs and binding post connectors. The RF-83 is known for its dynamic presentation, clarity, and commanding physical presence in a room, making it suitable for both solid state and tube amplification.
