About the RF15

Introduced in 2003 and manufactured until 2006, the Klipsch RF-15 floorstanding speaker features a 1-inch titanium tweeter mounted in a square Tractrix horn for increased efficiency and controlled dispersion, minimizing reflections and enhancing stereo imaging. It includes dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers with copper-colored cones that are rigid and resistant to resonance, delivering clean and accurate sound. The speaker has a flared rear port for enhanced bass output and uses Monster cable internally. Despite its compact width of 6.75 inches, it is stabilized by molded-plastic stabilizers and includes spikes or rubber bumpers for different floor types. The RF-15 is part of a home theater system including the RC-25 center speaker, RS-25 surrounds, and RW-8 subwoofer. It is praised for vivid, detailed sound with a sensitivity of 96 dB, suitable for low-power receivers, but its treble is noted as less clean compared to some competitors. The speaker is no longer in production but remains popular among Klipsch enthusiasts.
