About the La Scala AL6

The La Scala AL6 is a flagship three-way horn-loaded loudspeaker from Klipsch's Heritage Series, featuring a fully horn-loaded design for tweeter, midrange, and woofer drivers. It includes a K-771 1" compression driver with an extended phase plug on a K-792 horn for high frequencies, a K-1133-HP 3" compression driver on a patented K-406M Tractrix horn with Mumps technology for midrange, and a K-281 12" woofer in a horn-loaded vented system for bass. The speaker offers a frequency response of 40Hz to 19kHz (+/- 4 dB passive, +/- 2.5 dB active), sensitivity of 103 dB, and can handle 100W continuous power with peaks up to 400W. It achieves a maximum SPL of 120 dB and has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 3.2 ohms at 70Hz). The enclosure is made of veneered MDF and comes in American Auburn, Satin Black Ash, or American Walnut finishes with silver metallic grille cloth. Dimensions are 39.125" H x 24.5" W x 25.5" D, weighing 205 lbs (93 kg). The speaker supports both passive and active operation with 5-way metal binding posts and optional active DSP crossover. It is handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, continuing Klipsch's legacy of high-performance, efficient loudspeaker design.
