The Klipsch KSW-15 powered subwoofer was introduced in 1998 and manufactured until 2003. It features a single 15-inch (381mm) fiber-composite cone driver designed to produce deep bass with low distortion down to 22Hz. The subwoofer includes a built-in BASH amplifier rated at 265 watts RMS and 800 watts peak power. It offers a frequency response of 24Hz to 120Hz ±3dB and a variable low-pass crossover adjustable from 40Hz to 120Hz with a 24dB/octave slope. The cabinet dimensions are approximately 19.5" x 19" x 19" (49.5cm x 48.3cm x 48.3cm), and it weighs about 45 to 76 pounds depending on sources. The KSW-15 is well-regarded for home theater use, providing powerful bass output, though some users note it is less suited for music reproduction. It is a discontinued model but remains popular among Klipsch enthusiasts.
