About the KF26

The Klipsch KF-26 Floorstanding Speaker is designed to fill small to medium rooms with powerful, lifelike sound performances suitable for both music and movies. It features a 1" aluminum diaphragm compression driver mated to a 90° x 90° square Tractrix® Horn for clear high-frequency output, and dual 6.5" magnetically shielded IMG woofers for robust bass response. The speaker has a frequency response range of 38Hz to 23kHz ± 3dB, a sensitivity of 97 dB at 2.83V/1m, and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifiers. It supports bi-wiring and bi-amping through dual binding posts. The enclosure is made of MDF with a bass-reflex design via a front-firing port, finished in black ash vinyl. Dimensions are approximately 39" (99.1 cm) in height, 7.8" (19.81 cm) in width, and 13.5" (34.29 cm) in depth, weighing about 43 lbs (19.5 kg). The KF-26 is noted for its efficient design that produces more output with less energy and accurate, non-fatiguing sound for extended listening pleasure. It was first available around 2011 and remains a popular choice for quality floorstanding speakers at an affordable price point.
