About the AW400

The Klipsch AW-400 is an all-weather outdoor loudspeaker featuring a two-way driver system with a 1-inch polymer dome tweeter mated to a 90°x90° Tractrix Horn and a 4-inch Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofer. It delivers high sensitivity and power handling, making it suitable for patios, gardens, terraces, balconies, and poolside areas. The speaker has a paintable, UV-resistant ABS enclosure with a rustproof aluminum grille, ensuring durability against outdoor elements. It includes a C-style mounting bracket with stainless steel hardware and a 3/8"-16 threaded insert for optional mounts. The AW-400 offers a frequency response of 91Hz to 20kHz ±3dB, sensitivity of 91dB at 1 watt/1 meter, nominal impedance of 8 ohms, and power handling of 50 watts continuous (200 watts peak). Its compact dimensions and lightweight design allow flexible installation and placement.
