Klaudio's KD-CLN-LP200 ultrasonic record cleaner uses 200 Watts of ultrasonic energy to remove grime and dust from vinyl LPs safely and effectively. It features a top-loading slot where the record is half-submerged in distilled water inside a premium welded stainless steel reservoir. Four 50W 40kHz ultrasonic transducers are positioned perpendicular to both sides of the disc for maximum cleaning effect, using cavitation bubbles to penetrate grooves without damage. The record is rotated on internal rollers during cleaning. The process is fully automated, starting upon record insertion, with adjustable wash and dry times from 0 to 5 minutes each, and modes for wash+dry, wash-only, or dry-only. Drying is done by centrifugal blowers. The unit includes an integrated drain valve for easy maintenance, auxiliary power output for accessories, and is compatible with 115V/230V AC. It supports 296-304mm (11.65-12in) diameter LPs, with adapters for 7in and 10in discs. Noise levels are approximately 65dBA during washing and 70dBA during drying. The KD-CLN-LP200 is designed for vinyl only and not recommended for shellac discs. It weighs about 48 lbs and measures roughly 7.12" x 11.65" x 17.12". The product comes with a 2-year warranty and has been praised for significantly reducing noise floor and restoring LP luster without physical scrubbing or detergents.
