The Kinki Studio EX Series P-7 P (Middle) is a high-resolution audiophile preamplifier designed for exceptional sound quality with a balanced midrange and smooth extension at both high and low frequencies. It features true Class-A biased, fully discrete input and output stages that deliver rich tonal quality, detailed sound, and high resolution. The volume control is a microprocessor-controlled, relay-based R2R attenuator with ultra-precise 95-step linear volume control, ensuring silky smooth and accurate volume adjustments. The preamplifier employs a dual mono design and uses high-quality 0.2µm gold-plated printed circuit boards. Power is supplied by three toroidal encapsulated transformers dedicated to the display, volume control, buffer, and amplification stages. It includes HT Bypass functionality for home theater integration. The unit has a frequency response of 0-150kHz (±1dB), THD+N of 0.003% (-80dB), signal-to-noise ratio greater than 90dB, and channel separation exceeding 90dB.
