About the REL-CU

The Kimber Kable REL-CU Subwoofer Cable is engineered in collaboration with REL Acoustics to provide the cleanest, most transparent high-level signal transfer from amplifier to REL subwoofer. Based on Kimber's acclaimed Cu speaker cable but optimized for subwoofers, it uses hex braid geometry to minimize RF and EMI interference, delivering wider bandwidth, lower noise floor, and enhanced dynamic range. It features dual 19 AWG Varistrand copper conductors per polarity (net 16 AWG), advanced FEP dielectric via low-temperature high-pressure extrusion, a protective braided nylon sleeve, Neutrik locking Speakon connector at the subwoofer end, and bare wire at the amp end with included termination options: banana plugs, spades, color-coded heat shrink sleeves (red, black, yellow), and solder. This ensures seamless integration with main speakers for natural, dynamic low-end performance in music and home theater systems.
