The Kharma Elegance S7 is the latest model in the Elegance series, designed as a modest-sized successor to the DB7 and DB9 models. It features a single 7-inch Kharma Composite driver developed with advanced aerospace and Formula 1 fiber technology, optimized through finite element analysis for exceptional bass detail and dynamic behavior. The high frequencies are handled by a 1-inch True Beryllium tweeter, known for its extremely high first break-up frequency and extended frequency range, providing ultra-high resolution in the midrange and treble. The speaker is a 2-way system with a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms, RMS power of 100 Watts, and program power of 200 Watts. It has an efficiency of 86 dB (2.83V/1m) and a maximum SPL of 106 dB. The cabinet is polygonal shaped for optimal phase behavior and minimal group time-delay, constructed from 35 mm high-density MDF with advanced acoustic damping materials. Dimensions including stand are approximately 972 mm height, 358 mm width, and 553 mm depth. The Elegance S7 is praised for its musicality, balanced tonal character, and ability to produce surprisingly deep and detailed bass for its size, making it suitable for high-end audio experiences in various room sizes. A Signature version (S7-S) is also available, featuring upgraded cabinet and driver components (Omega-7 driver).
