The Kharma dB9-S is a high-end 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the Elegance series, using a 1-inch true beryllium tweeter, a 7-inch Kharma Omega 7 composite midrange driver, and two 9-inch aluminium woofers in a bass-reflex enclosure. It is voiced for neutral yet engaging reproduction with strong dynamics and a spacious soundstage, aimed at reference-level stereo systems. The dB9-S is specified for 250 W RMS / 500 W program power, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, efficiency of 89 dB (2.83 V/1 m), maximum SPL of 113 dB, and a frequency range of 26 Hz-30 kHz. The cabinet is a substantial Elegance-series design using thick MDF panels with extensive internal damping, rear porting, and refined industrial design. Dimensions including the stand are 40.98" (H) x 16.14" (W) x 23.86" (D), with each speaker weighing roughly 130 lb (~55-60 kg) depending on finish. As part of the Elegance line it offers configurable luxury finishes and high-quality binding posts and hardware, positioning the dB9-S as a premium loudspeaker for demanding audiophiles.
