About the Q Concerto Meta
The KEF Q Concerto Meta is the largest bookshelf speaker in KEF's Q Series, designed as a modern tribute to the original 1969 Concerto. It features a three-way bass reflex design with a 12th generation Uni-Q driver array incorporating Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™) that absorbs 99% of unwanted high-frequency distortion for clear, natural sound. The speaker includes a 19mm vented aluminium dome tweeter, a 100mm aluminium midrange cone, and a 165mm hybrid aluminium cone bass driver, delivering a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and a typical in-room bass response down to 36 Hz. The refined crossover was developed using over 1000 measurements to ensure a precise signal path and pristine sonics. It offers a sensitivity of 85 dB, impedance of 4 ohms, and can handle amplifier power from 15 to 180 watts. The cabinet design includes Shadow Flare technology to minimize diffraction and improve clarity. Available finishes include satin black, satin white, and walnut, with detachable magnetic grilles. Dimensions are 415 x 210 x 315 mm and weight is 9.5 kg. The Q Concerto Meta is suitable for both stereo and home theater use, providing immersive, detailed sound with deep, controlled bass and excellent clarity across the frequency spectrum.
