The Black Ice Audio FOZ SSX V.2 is a two-channel sound stage expander based on Jim Fosgate’s Dimension Pro circuit. It is designed to widen or narrow the stereo image, improve channel separation and imaging, and add a 12AU7 tube buffer into the signal path. The unit also includes bass equalization that can increase or reduce low bass impact by up to 9 dB without the clipping or distortion associated with traditional tone controls. It offers three selectable gold-plated RCA inputs and is intended to blend into an existing hi-fi system with unity gain.
