The Jean-Marie Reynaud Offrande is a legendary standmount speaker line launched in 1994, with multiple updates including the 2001 version and the final Offrande Supreme V2 iteration, discontinued in late 2018 due to rising manufacturing costs. Regarded by designer Jean-Marie Reynaud as the quintessential expression of his sonic philosophy, it delivers warm, clear, detailed, dynamic, immediate, tactile, and expressive sound with exceptional imaging, coherence, and a huge soundstage. The cabinet employs a unique acoustic loading with a triangular transmission line and damped resonator, equivalent to 200 liters of air volume, enabling foundational bass from a compact enclosure made of solid beech sandwich structure for inertness. It excels in intimacy, timbre accuracy, and musical bonding, outperforming many in transparency and balance without sacrificing warmth. Paired with matching wooden stands, it suits tube or solid-state amps and is not overly demanding to drive.
