About the L890

The JBL L890 is a four-way passive floor-standing loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity audio and home theater use. It features a 20 mm Mylar ultra-tweeter in a Bi-Radial horn, a 25 mm pure titanium dome tweeter with EOS waveguide, a 100 mm PolyPlas midrange driver with HeatScape drive structure, and two 200 mm PolyPlas woofers with symmetrical field design. The speaker delivers a frequency response from 28 Hz to 40 kHz, sensitivity of 91 dB, and nominal impedance of 8 ohms. It handles nominal power of 125 watts and music power up to 250 watts. The cabinet includes a vertically-extended '8' shaped bracing for rigidity and comes in finishes such as cherry, black ash, and beech. It is magnetically shielded and designed to provide clear, expressive sound with excellent bass integration and wide dispersion for both music and movie applications. Dimensions are approximately 107.3 cm high, 25.9 cm wide, and 38 cm deep, weighing about 27.3 kg. The L890 supports bi-wiring with gold-plated five-way binding posts and requires adequate room placement for optimal performance.
