About the 880 Array

The JBL 880 Array is a high-performance three-way center channel loudspeaker designed for home theater and music systems. It features a vertically mounted Bi-Radial® horn with a 3" aluminum diaphragm compression driver, a 1" pure titanium diaphragm ultrahigh-frequency compression driver, and dual 8" coated pulp-cone woofers with 1.5" copper edge-wound voice coils mounted on angled baffles in an independent trapezoidal enclosure. This configuration delivers articulate and natural reproduction of dialogue and effects, providing seamless sonic integration in surround sound setups. The speaker has a frequency response of 70Hz to 40kHz, power handling of 200 watts, sensitivity of 90dB (2.83V @ 1m), and nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Dimensions are approximately 12.3" (H) x 28.8" (W) x 11" (D) and it weighs about 46 lbs (21 kg). The 880 Array incorporates technologies derived from JBL's flagship K2 Series and professional studio monitors, ensuring precise imaging, dynamic sound, and a wide soundstage.
