The JansZen Valentina A8 is an advanced active loudspeaker that combines dual electrostatic panels with 8-inch woofers arranged above and below the panels for deep, fast bass and strong impact. It features built-in bi-amplification with dual 500W/4Ω amplifiers per cabinet, a built-in DAC, and preamplifier, allowing elimination of most external equipment. The speakers have five independent auto-detecting inputs (three digital and two analog) and come with a remote control for volume and input selection. The electrostatic panels are monopole, housed in sealed cabinets about 40 inches tall, producing a wide and deep soundstage with sharp imaging and excellent phase reproduction. Additional silk ring-dome side tweeters provide adjustable treble compensation for room acoustics and listening height. Bass response is adjustable via remote with three presets to compensate for room placement. The design avoids dipole back wave issues, making setup easier and room independent.
