About the S82

The James Loudspeaker S82 is a large, passive 2-way studio-monitor/on-wall loudspeaker designed for high-output residential, commercial, and home-theater applications. It uses dual 8-inch long wood-fiber, inter-thread, double-compressed-cone woofers and a triple-array silk-dome tweeter system in a front-inverted cabinet. The speaker includes a second-order 12 dB/octave crossover at 2.5 kHz, gold-plated speaker terminals, mounting brackets, and a black or white PUV-coated finish. James Loudspeaker lists the S82 among its discontinued products; the company states that discontinued products remain supported and may normally be buildable as custom products subject to demand.
