About the EMB-1000 Studio
The James Loudspeaker EMB-1000 Studio Subwoofer utilizes Energy Multiplied Bandpass (EMB) technology, which employs two precisely designed sealed chambers: a rear chamber with a high-performance internal 10" aluminum cone woofer and a front chamber with a spun aluminum pneumatically-coupled passive radiator. This design multiplies energy output, producing bass as if the enclosure were much larger, delivering clearer, deeper, and virtually distortion-free bass from 25Hz to 150Hz. The subwoofer includes a 600 watt class D plate amplifier, eliminating the need for an external amplifier. Its compact dimensions are approximately 12" high, 12" wide, and 14.25" deep. The EMB-1000 is known for its musicality, quick response, and ability to complement smaller stand-mount monitors and high-end speakers, making it suitable for both home theater and high-fidelity audio setups.
