The Jadis JS2SL (also written JS2 SL) is a high-end, single-chassis, tube-output digital-to-analog converter from French manufacturer Jadis. It combines an ESS Sabre ES9038PRO 32-bit HyperStream DAC platform with a fully balanced analog output stage using four ECC82 dual-triode valves. The internally housed power supply is physically separated from the processing circuitry, and the unit provides four digital inputs plus both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analog outputs. Jadis states that the cathode-follower output stage can drive any preamplifier.
