About the JPS-2

The Jadis JPS-2 is a high-end line preamplifier featuring a dual-chassis design with separated power supply. It uses 3 ECC83 tubes for the line function and 1 ECC82 tube to adapt impedance on the CD input. The power supply is tube regulated with 1 EF86 and 1 EL84 tube, operating at 80 Hz frequency to reduce noise compared to typical mains frequencies. It offers 6 line inputs, 1 buffered tape monitor loop, and 2 outputs, with gain of 24dB for line inputs and 18dB for CD input. The preamplifier is built with point-to-point wiring, gold-plated connectors, and high-quality copper and silver wiring to ensure faithful audio signal transmission. It has a bandwidth of 20Hz to 74kHz (-3dB), weighs 31 kg, and consumes 50W. The chassis is made of non-magnetic stainless steel for low noise and durability. The JPS-2 is handmade in France and is available in unbalanced (JPS-2) and balanced (JPS-2S) versions. It is highly regarded for its wide, holographic soundstage and transparent, natural musical flow.
