About the JP200

The Jadis JP200 is a flagship tube preamplifier designed with a focus on musicality and sound quality. It uses 12AT7 tubes for two-stage voltage amplification and cathode output, with double triodes in parallel to achieve larger output current and lower output impedance. The design is inspired by the Marantz 7 but includes significant improvements such as separated cathode bias resistor and negative feedback loops for enhanced stability, low distortion, and wide frequency response (0.07Hz to 150kHz). The JP200 delivers a balanced sound with sweet treble, thick midrange, and clean bass, making it especially suitable for classical music. It features independent amplification and power supply sections for left and right channels to improve separation and control. The power supply uses 6Z4 or 6X4 tube rectifiers with advanced voltage regulation and filtering components. The chassis is made of all-aluminum alloy with precise craftsmanship. The unit is appreciated for its wide soundstage, low distortion, and dynamic range, and is considered a classic among tube preamplifiers.
