The Integra DTC-9.8 is a professional-grade 7.1-channel preamplifier/processor designed for high-end home theater systems. It features four HDMI 1.3a inputs and two outputs, supporting 1080p and Deep Color 36-bit video signals, with Silicon Optix HQV Reon-VX video processing for scaling and transcoding all video sources to 1080p. The unit includes three advanced TI 32-bit DSP chips for audio processing, onboard decoding for all major audio formats including DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and lossless formats for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. It employs premium Burr Brown 192kHz/24-bit DACs and Integra's VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry) for low distortion and dynamic sound reproduction. The DTC-9.8 supports Neural THX Surround Processing, Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction, and offers extensive audio customization including a 15-band graphic equalizer, variable crossover settings, and bi-amp capability for front channels. It also provides exceptional multi-zone capabilities with fixed and variable line-level outputs and independent video outputs for additional zones.
