The Innuos Zen MK2 is a dedicated music server and CD ripper, engineered to deliver exceptional audio performance by minimizing electrical noise and vibration. It is positioned between the entry-level Zen Mini and the flagship Zenith in the Innuos lineup. The Zen MK2 is built around a quad-core Intel CPU with 4GB RAM, offering fast library indexing and smooth operation. It features a linear power supply with ultra-low noise regulators, Nichicon MUSE capacitors, and a medical-grade mains filter for clean power delivery. The chassis includes extensive anti-vibration treatment, and the device supports in-memory playback with a 2GB cache to further reduce noise during music playback. Dual Ethernet ports with isolation transformers allow for direct connection to a streamer, bypassing network switches for improved sound quality. The Zen MK2 runs the proprietary innuOS operating system, enabling full music library management via smartphone or tablet, including CD ripping, metadata editing, and artwork selection. It is compatible with a wide range of DACs, streamers, and multiroom systems, supporting high-resolution audio formats up to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256, and MQA when used with a compatible DAC.
