About the PhoenixNET
The Innuos PhoenixNET is a no-compromise audiophile-grade network switch engineered specifically for high-end audio streaming. It features a simpler 100Mbps network switch chip that reduces operating noise compared to Gigabit switches, and it uses a network switch chip without internal switching regulators. Power is supplied by two internal Statement-grade linear power supplies with independent ultra-low noise regulation for three independent voltages. The device includes massive individual network isolation transformers to isolate noise from routers or connected devices, and it has high-quality, individually shielded Ethernet ports soldered directly to the board without Ethernet activity LEDs to avoid electrical noise. EMI absorption is strategically implemented to capture interference before it affects other components. Vibration control is managed through anti-vibration feet tuned to the chassis resonant frequency, a treated top cover that converts vibration into heat, and sturdy RJ45 ports with silicone connections to the chassis. The PhoenixNET's clocking precision and stability are enhanced by an OCXO clock. Overall, it is designed to significantly improve digital music playback by minimizing noise and interference in the network path, making it an essential component for audiophiles seeking an end-game listening experience.
