About the Phoenix USB Reclocker
The Innuos PhoenixUSB Reclocker takes the USB signal from any source and completely regenerates it into an extremely high-precision signal to feed into your DAC, allowing it to perform at its best. It integrates the functionality of three components: a USB regenerator, a linear power supply, and an external master clock with its own linear power supply. Key design features include a USB chip with no switching regulators, powered by three independent voltages from a linear supply further regulated by LT3045 regulators; a 3ppb OCXO clock at 24MHz connected directly via short board track to the USB chip; and two independent Statement-level linear power supplies—one for the OCXO clock and one for the USB chip/5V line. This setup eliminates noise, reduces jitter, and improves sound quality, dynamics, and immersion from any USB source, not limited to Innuos products. Includes PhoenixUSB unit, mains cable, USB cable, and getting started guide.
