About the AC-4004

The Inakustik Referenz AC-4004 AIR is a high-end power cable featuring an Air Helix structure and air dielectric for extremely low capacitance. Its 16-fold multicore construction uses 16 pure-copper conductors—eight for each current-carrying conductor—with a total cross-section of 2 × 4.0 mm² (16 × 0.5 mm²). A separate protective-earth conductor provides Class 1 grounding. The cable also incorporates a dense, oxidation-protected tinned-copper shielding braid to help reduce electromagnetic interference. The multicore arrangement and separated conductors are designed to minimize inductance and mitigate skin-effect-related losses.
