The iFi Audio Pro iDSD Signature is a highly sophisticated and technically advanced DAC/headphone amplifier/preamp/streamer. It features a quad-stack Burr-Brown DAC configuration (4 DACs interleaved) enabling playback of PCM up to 768kHz, DSD up to DSD1024, DXD, and full MQA decoding. The device uses an XMOS XU216 X-Core 200 series chipset for digital processing and a Crysopeia FPGA Digital Engine for studio-grade DSD remastering and advanced digital filtering options including Bit Perfect, Bit Perfect+, Gibbs Transient Optimised, Apodising, and Transient Aligned filters. It supports multiple digital inputs such as USB, AES3 (XLR), S/PDIF (coaxial/optical combo), BNC, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Micro SD card. The Pro iDSD Signature offers three selectable output modes: solid-state, tube, and tube+ (which enhances tube harmonics). It has a fully balanced Class A amplifier stage with adjustable gain (0dB, 9dB, 18dB) and delivers high output power (>4200mW balanced at 16Ω). The unit includes a high-quality ALPS rotary volume potentiometer, ELNA Silmic capacitors, and Dynacaps super capacitors. It also features an OLED display, remote control, and extensive connectivity for streaming and digital clock synchronization. Dimensions are 213 x 220 x 63 mm, weighing 1.98 kg (4.37 lbs).
