About the Absolute Time
The Ideon Audio Absolute Time is a sophisticated digital reclocker designed to enhance digital audio playback by eliminating noise and jitter from USB and SPDIF signals. It features separate, electrically stable USB and coaxial (SPDIF) inputs and outputs, allowing independent processing of each format. The USB input employs Ideon's proprietary 'Triple Distillation' three-stage noise eradication circuit to remove digital noise, while the SPDIF circuit includes a stabilized coax input and an ultra-low-noise, jitter-less reclocking platform using a 12.8MHz master clock. The device is powered by a large, hand-made audiophile transformer and a triple-stage, ultra-low noise linear power supply with separate regulation lines. It uses low ESR audiophile capacitors, proprietary femto clock reclocking circuits, phase correction, and a zero-noise rectification bridge to minimize signal degradation. The USB output is ultra-stabilized with signal boost and high power to drive any load, and the SPDIF output features a low-noise PLL. The Absolute Time can be ordered in a half-depth or full-depth chassis and is suitable for integration with any high-quality DAC or digital audio system, significantly improving sound quality by reducing jitter and noise.
