About the 4x4 2

The Iconoclast by Belden 4x4 Generation 2 interconnect uses four mini star-quad conductor groups within a larger star-quad arrangement. Each group contains four 30 AWG copper conductors separated by a small X-shaped spline. The largely air dielectric and low-inductance geometry help reduce common-mode noise while avoiding the high capacitance typically associated with conventional star-quad cables. It is intended for analog audio interconnect applications.
