The HSU Research CCB-8 is a two-way passive bookshelf speaker designed in collaboration with Don Keele, utilizing a unique constant directivity coaxial driver where a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter is mounted behind the 8-inch polypropylene cone woofer, hidden under an acoustically transparent dust cap. This point-source design eliminates lobing effects, provides even dispersion up to 15 degrees off-axis vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and enhances efficiency in higher frequencies.
