About the Edition XS

The HiFiMan Edition XS are open-back, over-the-ear headphones featuring planar magnetic drivers with NEO supernano Diaphragms. They incorporate acoustically invisible stealth magnets to reduce distortion, providing a clear and harmonious sound. The headphones have a frequency response of 8Hz to 50kHz, an impedance of 18Ω, and a sensitivity of 92dB (or 109dB @ 1V as per some measurements). They are lightweight and comfortable, making them suitable for extended listening sessions. The Edition XS offers a balanced sound profile with good bass extension, accurate mid-range reproduction, and crisp treble, though the treble can sometimes be sharp. They are not suitable for noisy environments due to their open-back design, which offers little noise isolation.
