The Herron Audio M2 is a pair of monoblock power amplifiers from Herron Audio, a boutique HiFi manufacturer specializing in low-distortion solid-state designs. Like other Herron models such as the M150 and M1, the M2 employs unique circuitry with feed-forward signal paths from multiple amplification stages directly to the output stage, ensuring high linearity at low levels, robust power delivery, and minimal heat generation. These amplifiers are praised for their neutrality, clarity, detail retrieval, and ability to handle a wide range of speakers (4-8 ohms nominal). Herron Audio appears to be in semi-retirement, with the company website down and some products discontinued, though service may continue for existing units. The M2 is no longer in production and not currently available new.
