About the H360
The Hegel H360 is a flagship integrated amplifier featuring 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms (420W into 4 ohms) and an exceptionally high damping factor exceeding 4000, enabling it to control virtually any loudspeaker with authority and precision. It incorporates Hegel's patented SoundEngine2 technology, which minimizes crossover distortion and high-frequency noise through adaptive feed-forward techniques, combined with hand-matched transistors and separate power supplies for the preamp and power amp sections to achieve an extremely low noise floor. The built-in high-quality DAC uses an AKM AK4450 chip with proprietary re-clocking to reduce jitter, supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM and native DSD64/DSD128 via USB. Streaming capabilities include Apple AirPlay and DLNA via Ethernet. Connectivity is comprehensive with analog inputs (1 XLR balanced, 2 RCA unbalanced including HT bypass), digital inputs (1 coaxial, 3 optical, 1 USB, 1 Ethernet), and outputs (fixed/variable RCA line-level, coaxial digital, speaker terminals). Now listed as discontinued by the manufacturer.
