About the H390

The Hegel H390 is a high-power integrated amplifier with network DAC and streaming that delivers 2 x 250 W into 8 ohms in a dual-mono class-AB design using Hegel's patented SoundEngine 2 error-cancelling technology to reduce distortion in real time while maintaining a natural, dynamic sound. Its digital section is designed to keep the music signal effectively unchanged regardless of input type, and supports high-resolution formats including DSD and MQA, with MQA decoding available from multiple digital inputs. Connectivity includes 1 x balanced XLR and 2 x RCA analog inputs, USB, BNC, coaxial and three optical S/PDIF digital inputs, BNC digital output, Ethernet for network streaming, plus fixed and variable RCA outputs for integration with subwoofers or external systems. The H390 offers Apple AirPlay and UPnP/DLNA streaming, and via firmware updates adds services such as Spotify Connect, IP/Control4 control and Roon Ready operation, with all inputs configurable for fixed-level (home theater bypass) use.
